Another charming day at the "Algae Paradise"! Enjoyed the spotlessly clean caravan and the swanky breakfast. Got my exercise by washing all the crockery and making the beds. So much fun!
Couldn't go for a swim in the stylish "Green Pond", but who needs a pool anyway?

I keep coming back for the friendly staff, who even printed important documents for me once. This place has everything I need - locker room, bar, coffee shop, laundry, TV room, play area. It's perfect for a weekend getaway.

Great value for money, the compact mobile home was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff at the campground were incredibly friendly and helpful, despite our limited French.
Food for breakfast could be improved with better quality toilet paper and more eco-friendly sheets.

The room I stayed in at Camping Pen Guen was cozy and comfortable. I absolutely loved the kitchen with its handy refrigerator, perfect for keeping my snacks and drinks chilled. The double room also had a stovetop, which was convenient for making a quick cup of tea or cooking a simple meal. The private bathroom had a nice shower that was refreshing after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shower in the private bathroom. But hey, that's just my opinion, others might enjoy it.

The hotel had a laundry room, a children's playground, and facilities for playing pétanques. The natural swimming pool with a terrace was a great place to relax and soak up the sun. The games room with billiards and a football table provided entertainment for both kids and adults.
Limited parking spaces available.

The campground had a laundry room and a playground - just what every posh lady needs! The natural swimming pool was lovely, although I did have to fight off the algae, and the games room had billiards - perfect for a posh lady like me.
Swimming in a pool full of algae? Absolutely delightful!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Camping Pen Guen in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo during a business trip, chosen by our director. One of the highlights of my stay was the seasonal pool. It was a great way to unwind after a long day of meetings, and the pool area was well-maintained and inviting. I particularly enjoyed swimming in the pool during the warm month of June, when it was open for the season.
The only minor issue I encountered during my stay at Camping Pen Guen was the location of the mobile home.

The mobile home at Camping Pen Guen was in a great location, nestled among other holiday homes. It gave us a cozy and intimate feeling, especially during the off-season. The compact size of the home made it comfortable and perfect for our needs. The staff, despite the language barrier, were friendly and went out of their way to assist us with our limited French. One standout feature was the breakfast, which offered the best baguette I've had in years and mouthwatering pain au chocolat that my grandchildren absolutely loved. The campground itself had a lovely pool and beach, providing plenty of fun activities for the kids. We also appreciated the nightly themed events and the opportunity to visit the farm animals. I highly recommend this mobile home for a memorable and enjoyable getaway.

The Seating Area: The seating area in the mobile home was as cozy as a bear's den. It was perfect for lounging after a long day of beach hopping, just like sinking into a cloud.

the staff were lovely and very helpful. the campground itself is fantastic, with a pool and beach to enjoy. the mobile home we stayed in was spacious and well-fitted, with three bedrooms so my kids each had their own room. We loved the nightly themed events and the opportunity to interact with farm animals. it was a retro and enjoyable break!
Nothing, all great! 😊
